Thundermother CD

Lots of energy, wild riffs and a solid groove straight from the seventies - two and a half years after the universally acclaimed album Road Fever, the Swedish rockers of Thundermother are back. And the return is triumphant. Without question, Thundermother's third album is poised to become one of the biggest rock albums of the still-young year 2018. In the spring of 2017, things changed for Thundermother: four members left the band, three new ones joined. However, guitarist and founder Filippa Nilsil kept her vision firmly in mind. The new line-up gathered around that vision and suddenly everything fell into place like a puzzle. In June 2017, the band released the single We Fight For Rock'n'Roll and üadopted the title directly as a mission statement for things to come. Thundermother played 20 concerts in Europe, of which the highlight was certainly Wacken. After touring with Michael Monroe, W.A.S.P., D-A-D and Danko Jones, the Wacken performance in front of 10,000 fans was a complete success. Such a success that the whole band spontaneously had the Wacken logo painted. Afterwards the band went to the Nordic Soundlab in Skara. Together with Grammy-awarded producer Thomas Plec Johansson (Mustasch, Hardcore Superstar, Watain etc.) Thundermother pushed all parameters to 11. There's still the driving 70s rock we've come to expect from the band, but the groove is groovier, the sound is better and the songs push themselves deep into the subconscious right off the bat. Thundermother 2.0 are here. And they are better than ever.
